Job Overview In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work on critical workflow tooling at scale, enabling teams to deliver high-quality software through best-in-class engineering experiences, efficient workflows, data-driven insights, and a culture of continuous improvement. Your primary focus will be on delivering actionable data insights and engaging with partners across the organization to provide training and support for workflow initiatives. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with management to drive workflow improvement initiatives in both quality and efficiency, leveraging your expertise in data analysis and workflow optimization. Develop and maintain dashboards to visualize key data, repeat shows, and plan with clients, ensuring that insights are actionable and informative. Translate complex data into meaningful insights, identifying trends and patterns within large datasets, and presenting findings to stakeholders. Research and document the current state of software development workflows, understanding foundational challenges and pinpointing processes that require improvement. Work closely with a team of data scientists and full-stack engineers to develop targeted insights through interactive dashboards using Tableau. Engage directly with teams to integrate insights into their decision-making processes, ensuring that data-driven decisions are informed and effective. Monitor the outcomes of your contributions and regularly report on wins and challenges to executive management, providing recommendations for future improvements. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of technical, business, and interpersonal skills. The following qualifications are essential: A Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. 2+ years of professional experience in software development as a data analyst, programmer, or technical PM. Proven track record of driving positive outcomes across a distributed organization with formal organizational change methods. Strong demonstrated understanding of SDLC and Quality Management principles. Ability to blend key success measures, present strategy and process recommendations to all levels of management. Effective at analyzing and reporting workflows/processes into workflow graphs. Experience working with data; querying and visualization, presentation of quantitative data, using Tableau. Driving client relationships; comfortable presenting to groups, gathering and implementing feedback. Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, the following skills and experiences are highly desirable: Advanced Scene development skills, including proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and principles of engaging analysis. Knowledge of DevOps metrics and LEAN software delivery concepts. Programming development experience, including understanding of build pipelines, merging, test systems, and strategies, and the delivery of code. Experience with workflow management tools and technologies, such as workflow automation platforms and project management software. Strong understanding of data visualization principles and practices, including the ability to create interactive and dynamic dashboards.
