Metadata Strategist

Yale University is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Metadata Strategist to join our dynamic team. Our ideal candidate will have the qualifications and enthusiasm needed to ensure the successful implementation of metadata initiatives. This position requires a strategic thinker who is comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and has a strong commitment to providing exceptional service that advances Yale University's mission. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing metadata strategies, procedures, and initiatives in partnership with a variety of campus departments.The successful candidate must have an understanding of metadata concepts, standards, and best practices. We are looking for a creative problem solver who is able to collaborate effectively with colleagues across the university. The ideal candidate should have a passion for continuous improvement and the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions to challenging problems. We are seeking an individual with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects. A bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years of experience in metadata strategy or a related field is required. This position is based at our New Haven campus.
