Job Description Position Description: Associate Director, Vendor Payments Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to): • Oversight of the Functional Outsourcing Payment Analysts and Vendor Payment Coordinators • Resolves high level issues related to functional outsourcing payments, contracts, budgets, accounting controls with Finance, Procurement, Global Clinical Trial Operations (GCTO) and Company Vendors • Trains new personnel on processes • Responsible for creation of metrics and analytics for vendor payments in support of GCTO • Creates, oversees and maintains the Clinical Monitoring Database for Functional Outsourcing vendors • Creates and maintains the Rate Checker Tools for Functional Outsourcing vendors • Responsible for independently overseeing all aspects of the functional outsourcing payments • Setting up and maintaining purchase orders • Reviewing, tracking and approving monthly invoices • Preforming monthly review/audits on pass through invoices • Tracking and recording functional area invoice approvals • Supporting Finance to complete monthly and quarterly accruals by liaising with the vendor on monthly reporting requirements • Reviewing and approving any vendor rebate calculations • Summarize Purchase Order/ Agreement justification for ourResearch&DevelopmentDivision Senior Management • Corporate Audit Support Position Qualifications : Education Minimum Requirement: Required Experience and Skills: • 7+ years in Accounting/Finance related position • Must have SAP experience • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Demonstrated leadership qualities • Strong interpersonal skills • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications especially Excel • Good interpersonal skills demonstrated as energetic, proactive, enthusiastic, and independent thinker • Excellent organizational and analytical skills • Ability to handle multiple priorities within matrix environment • Works and meets deadlines with minimal supervision • Demonstrated effectiveness working independently, collaboratively with peers and in cross-functional teams MRLGCTO #EligibleforERP NOTICE FOR INTERNAL APPLICANTS In accordance with Managers’ Policy – Job Posting and Employee Placement, all employees subject to this policy are required to have a minimum of twelve (12) months of service in current position prior to applying for open positions.
