Kindred Bravely is seeking a Merchant to own and drive performance for assigned product categories. This role is responsible for delivering key financial metrics through strong merchandising strategy, assortment planning, business analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

The Opportunity:The Merchant will play a critical role in shaping product assortments, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring the successful execution of product launches across all channels.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with strategic thinking and has experience managing a category or class in a fast-paced retail or e-commerce environment.

Experience
4+ years of retail merchandising or buying experience, preferably in apparel or consumer productsExperience in womens apparel or Intimates categories.Experience partnering closely with design and product development teams in a vertical retail environmentStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUPs and Pivot TablesProficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets)Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon Seller Central) preferred
Responsibilities Include (but Are Not Limited To)
Own category performance, monitoring sales, margin, and inventory productivity to drive financial resultsAnalyze weekly and monthly business performance to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunitiesDeliver regular sales analysis and performance recaps to cross-functional teams and leadershipDevelop and maintain line plans and product assortments aligned with brand strategy and financial targetsIdentify assortment gaps and present new product opportunities or merchandising strategiesPartner with Design, Planning, Marketing, and Operations to ensure successful product development and launch executionPrepare insights, reporting, and presentations for key business meetings and leadership reviewsLead or support ad hoc analysis and strategic projects that drive category and brand growthTrack milestones across the product lifecycle and product pipeline, ensuring timely delivery across channels
