The Merchandising Operations Specialist will provide administrative and sample management support, collaborate with various teams, and help bring unique products into the omni-channel business.ResponsibilitiesBecome part of a dynamic Merchandising organization by providing strong administrative and sample management support to the teamYou’ll also share your creative ideas to help bring unique products into our omni-channel businessYou will build relationships with the Buying, Visual Merchandising, eCommerce and Marketing teams to get a well-rounded experienceCreate and set up SKUs within the GenesisMaintain sku details in the AS400 systemCreate the Ecommerce line list, gather product details from vendors, facilitate vendor photography submissions, create the photo line list, assist with copy proofing and website update requests in AsanaMaintain attributes in Attributes systemGather product dimensions for visual displaysSupport Drop Ship stock level trackingCreate content sheet submissions for seasonal shopsPrepare for product review presentations creating labels, labeling products, building presentation boards, and helping with displaysGenerate Return to Vendor and vendor claim formsCreate and maintain department photo line lists and flashcardsSupport quarterly merchandising and marketing presentationsSupport signage creation and mainProvide ad hoc support for special projects, launches, and meetingsKey driver of sample management: unpacking samples, logging, scanning labels for accuracy, and communicating new arrivalsSupport department sample organizationPreparing samples for buyer’s weekly sample approvalsGather and turnover samples to visual, marketing and Ecommerce photo shootsSupport vendor visits by assisting vendors with meeting preparation and sample trackingSkillsBA/BS degree preferredDemonstrated ability to be flexible, results driven, and work independently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational, problem solving, and time management skillsDetail-orientation with a high degree of accuracy and an ability to detect inconsistencies in dataWorking skillset of Microsoft Office Suite tools including Excel, Word and PowerPoint (e.g. format sheets, embed hyperlinks, create and maintain formulas, graphs, charts, and presentations)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and work in a team environmentBenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid vacation and paid sick time401(k) plan with Roth option and company matchEmployee Assistance Program and wellness resourcesSample Sales and up to 30% shopping discountWork life balance and work from home flexibilityCompany OverviewWe delight customers with an ever-changing marketplace of unique and beautiful home furnishings, décor, accessories and exceptional gourmet products.
