The Clinical Coordinator is a full-time, salaried position. Clinical Coordinators use their clinical experience and expertise to inform evaluation, case management, coaching, and advocacy decisions for program participants. The ideal candidate is licensed at the masters level in a relevant mental health field and has experience with co-occurring and substance use disorders.

Position Duties and Responsibilities

I. Referral and Intake

Gathers necessary collateral material and conducts biopsychosocial assessments with brief cognitive screen. Provides communication to key stakeholders in a timely manner. Provides recommendations indicated including need for cease practice, additional evaluation or resolution and clearance back to work.

II. Healthcare Monitoring

Meets with participants to ensure their health is in good status. Collaborates and works closely with providers as needed. Provide coaching and support to facilitate ongoing recovery and successful completion of their monitoring agreement.

Assists with management of participants in crisis, involving WPHP supervisor and participants’ care providers, where indicated.

Communication with stakeholders such as workplace, treating providers, insurance companies, credentialing bodies and disciplinary boards if applicable.

III. General Organizational Duties

Participates in organizational efforts for enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion. Attends and participants in Annual Reunion with staff, alumni and current participants.

Understands and follows applicable state and federal laws, as well as WPHP policies, regarding confidentiality and protected health care information.

Engages in quality assurance and other special projects as needed.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· Master's degree (or higher)

· Associate or Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Social Worker, or Clinical Psychologist (willing to pursue licensure in Washington)

· Substance Use Disorder Professional Certification

· Minimum of three years of clinical experience

· Expertise with co-occurring disorders

· Knowledgeable in Quality Assurance procedures

· Thorough knowledge of Federal and State statutes regarding confidentiality

· Knowledge about family systems and impact on recovery

· Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a clinical team

· Must be of the conviction that substance use disorders are treatable primary disease, and be amenable to working in an abstinence-based program philosophy

· If applicant has a substance use disorder, must possess minimum of three years continuous sobriety and a current, strong recovery program

· Knowledge of 12-Step Programs

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite products (Teams, Outlook, etc.)

· Ability to learn new technological platforms (Zoom, Salesforce, DocuSign)

REMOTE WORK:

While this job is fully remote, employees are required to reside in Washington state.

Employees are also expected to:
• Have a private space to work in (confidential work)
• Have reliable internet access to conduct work
• Basic understanding/ability of setting up laptop/monitor equipment (WPHP provides work equipment that includes laptop, monitor, webcam, keyboard/mouse)
• Travel/in person work: Employee will be required to attend in person, quarterly functions which will be agreed upon in advance

Pay: $69,000.00 - $111,000.00 per year
