At Inner Gem Psych, we help people reconnect with their inner gem, the strength and clarity within, to create lasting, meaningful change. We are a private practice mental health group that provides remote outpatient therapy to clients throughout Illinois.
• We are seeking alicensed or pre-licensed, motivated, and compassionate clinical therapist to join our growing private practice as a W-2 employee. This is a remote position offering flexibility, clinical support, and the opportunity to focus on meaningful, client-centered work.
What we are looking for in a therapist:
• Education: Master’s level degree in mental health
• Licensure: LSW, LPC, LCSW, LCPC
• Skills:
• Social Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, reliable worker, good clinical judgement, effective collaborator to improve client care, a good listener, and trustworthy
• Technology Skills: Experience with google suite preferred and access to computer with video and audio capabilities and phone for client referrals
Therapist Responsibilities:
• Provide virtual mental health therapy to individuals, families, couples or groups for 15-25 clinical hours a week
• Maintain client records and documentation related to therapeutic services in electronic health record
• Submit claims and payments for client services
• Regularly check and monitor email for client referrals and clinical needs
• Attend staff and practice meetings as needed
• Engage in supervision if required by license
