Mental Health Therapist (LMSW or LPC-A) – Telehealth

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide direct support to individuals, particularly focusing on pediatrics and working with people on the autism spectrum. This role is essential in delivering high-quality mental health care, including crisis management and PTSD care, within a clinical setting. The therapist will utilize evidence-based practices and maintain accurate coding in accordance with ICD-9 standards. Responsibilities • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for clients, focusing on their specific mental health needs. • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances. • Provide crisis management support to clients experiencing acute mental health issues. • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients. • Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes, adhering to coding standards. • Stay informed about advancements in psychopharmacology and integrate relevant knowledge into practice. • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge base. Requirements • Valid licensure as a LMSW or LPC-A in the state of Connecticut • Must be willing to treat patients between the ages of 13 and 60 years old • Must have a home office or workspace that ensures complete privacy and that complies with HIPAA guidelines. Must have a reliable computer and internet to conduct telehealth sessions • Be able to establish boundaries with patients and enforce company policies • Integrity, honesty, and strong work ethic • Ability to behave in a professionally appropriate manner in and out of sessions • High Quality Written and Verbal Skills • Proficient with Technology and willingness to learn systems used • Be eager to learn, independent, problem solver, adaptable to change and have a growth mentality Join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve through compassionate mental health care!
