Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable and resilient microservices to enhance customer experience Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to create intuitive and user-friendly functionality Implement best practices in unit testing, benchmarking, and performance optimization of software Diagnose and resolve issues in a microservices and distributed environment Gain a deep understanding of customer use cases and translate them into innovative solutions Contribute to and engage in the continuous improvement of backend services and overall system performance Maintain service uptime and meet established service level objectives through proactive monitoring Participate in and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing and documentation within a hybrid work environment Skills BS/MS in Computer Science or Engineering 1 - 2 years of experience in software development, particularly in high growth environments Proficient in front-end development using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, with experience in React.js or equivalent frameworks Knowledge of one or more server-side programming languages (Go, C/C++, Java, Python) Experience with databases (SQL & NoSQL) and messaging technologies (NATS, Kafka, Pulsar) Strong understanding of microservices architecture, concurrency patterns, and multithreading concepts Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Linux environments Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate in a diverse team environment Benefits Sign-on bonus Restricted stock units Discretionary awards Full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits 401(k) eligibility Various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave Company Overview Nutanix specializes in cloud software, offering organizations a single platform for running apps and data across clouds.
