Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include: Calling donors on assigned lists to gain commitment for donation Meeting calls per hour standards and consistently meeting all monthly performance metrics Following scripts and talking points as directed, and leaving quality recorded messages with accurate information Scheduling donor procedure appointments in accordance with donor commitment Recording information in a neat, accurate, and timely manner Making follow-up and reminder calls, and answering incoming calls, routing and assisting callers as appropriate Educating donors about automated donation procedures and working to gain commitment for the donor to "power up" and donate through an automated procedure Maintaining confidentiality with regard to all medical and other private donor, client, and business information Maintaining and updating donor call profiles through accurate data entry Routing medical questions through appropriate channels, and maintaining a high standard of integrity and confidence in all communication with donors Complying with all applicable compliance, safety directives, and regulations Assisting in the training of paid and volunteer staff when needed Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: Essential Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent A pleasant voice and professional manner The ability to effectively communicate and speak clearly to the public over the phone Home internet and cell phone (blithequark will provide a computer for work purposes) Preferred Qualifications: One year of previous experience in customer service or telemarketing Flexibility to work unscheduled or long hours in response to a crisis or special blood needs What We Offer At blithequark, we're committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
