Medical Writer-AMCP dossiers
The Medical Writer III is responsible for writing and editing high-quality, medically relevant AMCP dossiers for assigned therapeutic areas. This role ensures submission-ready documents that support medical, scientific, and health economic objectives, serving as an expert resource in AMCP dossier development.
Key Responsibilities:
⢠Develop, edit, and manage AMCP dossiers and scientific presentations for payers.
⢠Collaborate with therapeutic area leads to incorporate strategies, scientific platforms, and value messages.
⢠Support Global Medical Information by developing or editing responses to unsolicited payer and healthcare provider requests.
⢠Analyze and interpret scientific data to create balanced, accurate documents in compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
⢠Provide medical writing support for multiple assets within therapeutic areas.
⢠Perform literature searches and interpret study data, charts, graphs, and tables.
⢠Manage multiple projects, resolve issues, and provide solutions to complex problems.
⢠Maintain awareness of current industry practices and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
⢠PharmD, PhD in Sciences or Technology, or MD.
⢠5+ years of experience in medical or scientific writing.
⢠Expertise in AMCP dossiers, medical communications, and evidence-based scientific documents.
⢠Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
⢠Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
⢠Ability to analyze and interpret scientific content and translate it for appropriate audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
⢠Evidence of publications in peer-reviewed journals as first author.
⢠Experience in AMCP format and dossier preparation.
⢠Certification in oncology.
⢠Proficiency with graphics software such as Adobe Illustrator.
⢠HEOR technical training and knowledge of statistical concepts.
Pay Range: $50/hr to $58/hr
