Job Description
Ā• In this role, you will support and manage projects, provide medical input on branded and unbranded content, and participate in various initiatives.
Ā• You will represent medical affairs in the Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review process to ensure compliance with industry regulations and guidelines.
Ā• Review promotional materials to ensure medical accuracy, validity, and appropriateness of content in accordance with approved labeling, scientific data, and relevant laws and policies.
Ā• Determine the appropriateness of data and references used to support promotional claims and marketing messages.
Ā• Collaborate with key cross-functional stakeholders on issues related to promotional materials or claims.
Ā• Engage with commercial business partners early in the development of promotional materials to enhance efficiency.
Ā• Work with the Medical Affairs team for the assigned product(s)/therapeutic area(s) to increase efficiency and mitigate risk of promotional claims.
Ā• Review, provide comments, and document verdicts for all assigned promotional materials within the Veeva Promo Mats system.
Ā• Participate in collab meetings as assigned.
Ā• Stay updated with medical literature and data in assigned therapeutic area(s).
Ā• Participate in relevant internal and external meetings and trainings.

Qualifications
Ā• Advanced degree preferred (MS, PhD or PharmD or equivalent).
Ā• Medical Review experience highly preferred (Veeva promo mat and med-com)
Ā• Neuroscience Parkinson's Disease experience
Ā• 3+years ad/promo medical review experience; Medical Review experience highly preferred (Veeva promo mat and med-com)
Ā• 3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent, with a strong understanding of medical affairs.
Ā• Familiarity with interpreting scientific evidence and knowledge of the patient treatment journey.
Ā• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information and interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Ā• Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ā• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and strategic thinking.
Ā• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business needs.
Ā• Excellent collaborative and project management skills, a strong understanding of MLR processes, and effective communication skills, competitive reviews, and publication analyses.

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
