Job description: OverviewMedical Office Administration InstructorAs an Online Medical Office Administration Instructor at Concorde Career College, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our students. Instruct classes in online settings.
Prepare comprehensive lesson plans and course materials.
Assess student academic performance objectively.
Utilize instructional plans effectively.
Ensure security and confidentiality of assessment tools and documentation.
Monitor and utilize the learning management systems efficiently.
Student Interaction:
Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
Serve as a role model for professionalism and conduct.
Provide regular, constructive feedback to students.
Address attendance, academic, and behavioral concerns
Maintain accurate student records, grades, and attendance.
Facilitate tutoring and makeup work as needed.
Adhere to campus policies and procedures.
Related Duties, Outside the Classroom:
Participate in faculty and professional development activities.
Attend workshops, seminars, and meetings.
Assist with graduation ceremonies and campus activities.
Support inventory management and equipment maintenance
Maintain a positive campus culture.
Assist with student recognition and clinical site visits.
QualificationsQualifications:
Minimum of three years of related practical work experience
Associate degree preferred.
Experience with Medicaid/Medicare claims, scheduling, patient accounts, and patient billing
Coding experience, CPC or AAPC preferred.
Prior teaching and management experience preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
