Brand new, beautiful office at a world class building, great location with free parking. Seeking experienced Front Desk Administrative Assistant/Office Manager Position. If you like to run operations like a boss, have medical office front desk experience, have at least 5 years of medical insurance verification experience, and are great with people, and are organized and tech-savvy, this is the job for you!
Ā MANDATORY: YOU MUST UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A DEDUCTIBLE, COPAY, AND CO INSURANCE AND HAVE A MASTERY OF HOW A DEDUCTIBLE WORKS as you will be determining how much to collect upfront. this is a SURGICAL SUBSPECIALTY office.
Ā *Front Desk Receptionist**
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls/schedule patients
- check in/check out patients
- verify medical insurance for patients days in advance (must have experience in deductibles, copays, and insurance verification through availity and portals, ecw experience is an added bonus)
- collect payments
when time: assist doctor in keeping office clean and organized, including safe sanitation practices, assist in data entry forms faxing and prior auths, assist in marketing
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 Ā 40 per week
