Medical Dictation Transcriptionist (Contracted)
*This is a fully remote position and does not require you to move or relocate before hire.**

THIS POSITION REQUIRES MANDATORY ON THE JOB EXPERIENCE WITH TRANSCRIBING MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS OR OTHER SINGLE VOICE DICTATIONS.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Medical Dictation Transcriptionist to join our team. This contracted position offers an opportunity for experienced transcriptionists working with medical professionals or other single voice dictations to showcase their skills while enjoying the flexibility of setting their own working hours. Responsibilities
Transcribe dictated recordings varying in audio length and quality
Properly format legal pathology reports and notes
Transcribe with proper spelling and capitalization medical terms, locations and names
Conduct basic research as needed to ensure the accuracy and completeness of your work
Must adhere to E-Typist Guidelines and/or client preferences and proofread work before submission
Qualifications
Type at least 65 WPM
Dictation transcription and word processing experience in an office environment, within the last fiveyear period
Good working knowledge in the creation of formal correspondence, memos, reports, etc.
Medical, workers comp terminology needed
Creating pathology and specimen reports.
Must possess a strong working knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word 2007 or newer, including advanced formatting features
Must possess excellent listening skills and be comfortable working independently
Success Criteria
Work a minimum of 3 days per week
Maintain spelling accuracy rating of 95% or higher after first 30 days
Maintain grammar and formatting accuracy rating of 95% or higher after first 30 days

Computer or Laptop with Windows 7 or higher and Microsoft Office 365
