- Communicate effectively with insurance companies, legal offices, patients, and staff
- Collaborate with patients, physicians, and team members to ensure smooth billing processes
- Perform billing, collections, and financial reporting tasks
- Utilize technology and software (e.g., EMR, EHR, Navinet) to facilitate medical billing operations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical accounts receivable
- Proficient in technology and medical billing software, including EMR and EHR
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Dependable, punctual, and honest work ethic
- Familiarity with Excel and Google Sheets
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Medi Touch/NextGen software
- Background in billing for physical therapy, chiropractic, and occupational therapy
- Previous experience with out-of-network insurance billing
