REMOTE POSITION!
JOB SUMMARY:
ā¢ The Recovery Specialist is responsible for a variety of functions including accurately reviewing and/or correcting medical billing data for claims submission to insurance companies; resolving pre bill registration and billing edits; resolving claim edits; resolving payer rejections; updating patient demographic/insurance information in the host system; follow-up on unpaid claims; researching and pursuing reimbursement for claims that were denied or did not receive contracted payment; filing appeals according to payer guidelines.
ā¢ Displays the ability to be flexible, multi task, and perform a variety of duties as requested by Management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
ā¢ Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School diploma: GED equivalent or High School certificate
ā¢ 1-3 years of experience in medical billing
Additional Information Please note: As a condition of employment, if not already completed, all new hires are required to receive the first dose of the COVID-19 Vaccination Series prior to their Occupational Health pre-employment assessment, and scheduled to complete the Vaccine Series within the first thirty (30) days of employment.
