Job Title: Quality Systems Supervisor
Location: Mequon, WI.
Salary: $50 - 60k (Based on Experience)
Requirements: Prior experience (5 years) in Quality Assurance or Quality Control. Leadership experience.
Position Overview
The Quality Systems Supervisor for 2nd/3rd Shift will oversee the implementation and management of quality systems within the production environment. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards and promotes a culture of quality throughout the organization. The supervisor will lead quality assurance initiatives, monitor processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product integrity and safety.
Key Responsibilities
 Supervise the quality assurance team on the 2nd/3rd shift to ensure compliance with quality standards.
 Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems and procedures.
 Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (FDA, USDA, ISO).
 Coordinate and lead process validations for various production lines including steam tunnel, liquid film, wipes, liquid fill, sealers, and cappers.
 Provide training and support to staff on quality assurance protocols and best practices.
 Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
 Collaborate with production teams to enhance quality performance and address quality-related issues promptly.
Qualifications
 Bachelor's degree in a related field (Quality Assurance, Engineering, etc.).
 Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality systems supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
 Strong knowledge of quality assurance, quality control, and regulatory compliance (FDA, USDA, ISO).
 Experience with process validations and quality systems management.
 Ability to work effectively on 2nd/3rd shift hours.
 Excellent communication and leadership skills.
