Medical Billing & Coding Specialist Needed

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Billing & Coding Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately reviewing, coding, and processing medical claims to ensure proper billing and reimbursement. You will play a critical role in maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and supporting smooth revenue cycle management. Responsibilities: Accurately assign medical codes (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) for diagnoses, procedures, and services. Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies, Medicare, and Medicaid. Review and verify patient records for completeness and accuracy. Resolve claim denials and follow up with insurance providers. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations. Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to clarify coding/billing issues. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines, payer policies, and industry regulations. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Medical Billing & Coding Specialist (2+ years preferred). Certification in medical coding (CPC, CCS, or equivalent) strongly preferred. Proficiency with medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR). Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
