Duties • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the medical billing industry. • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, ensuring a clear understanding of their billing needs. • Utilize knowledge of DRG, CPT coding, ICD-9, ICD-10, and other coding systems to provide accurate information to clients. • Conduct presentations and demonstrations of our medical billing services to potential clients. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients and effective service delivery. • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in medical billing and coding. • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities using EMR or EHR systems. Experience • Proven experience in medical billing, coding, or collections is essential. • Familiarity with DRG, CPT coding, ICD-9, ICD-10, and other relevant coding practices. • Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred. • Strong understanding of medical terminology and medical records management. • Proficiency in using EMR or EHR systems for documentation and reporting purposes. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly to clients. • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
