Position Summary
We are seeking a Medical Biller to join our team, responsible for efficient billing to major medical payers for Home Infusion and Specialty product lines. The role ensures billing accuracy, meets performance goals, and resolves high-dollar accounts receivable issues. The Medical Biller interfaces with internal and external stakeholders to optimize patient experiences efficiently and in accordance with regulatory and payer guidelines, including HIPAA compliance.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Training
High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited school.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish/English required.
Minimum Of 1 Year Relevant Experience.
Previous experience in pharmacy, home infusion, or specialty pharmacy drug billing preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Strong internal and external customer service skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Essential Job Duties
Submit timely and accurate invoices to payers for products and services provided.
Verify quantities and pricing for nursing services.
Ensure all services and products are properly authorized and documented prior to billing.
Adhere to regulatory and payer guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Maintain comprehensive documentation accuracy prior to claim submission.
