Salary: $20-$24 DOE Remote Medical Biller / Billing Specialist TNT Healthcare Billing Solutions | Full-Time | Remote (U.S.) TNT Healthcare Billing Solutions is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Medical Biller / Billing Specialist to join our growing remote team. Were a full-service medical billing and revenue cycle management (RCM) company supporting providers across multiple specialties. The ideal candidate has experience with claims processing, insurance follow-up, payment posting, and denial managementand thrives in a fast-paced, accuracy-driven environment. Key Responsibilities • Medical Billing & Coding: Enter, review, and submit claims with accurate CPT and ICD-10 coding for timely payment. • Claims Management: Process and follow up on electronic and paper claims; identify and correct errors or denials. • Accounts Receivable (A/R): Perform regular A/R follow-up, refile claims, and submit appeals to ensure proper reimbursement. • Insurance Verification: Confirm eligibility and benefits for new and existing patients. • Patient Billing: Generate patient statements, answer questions, and set up payment plans when appropriate. • Payment Posting: Post insurance and patient payments accurately to maintain up-to-date account balances. • Compliance: Follow HIPAA and industry regulations to protect patient confidentiality. • Collaboration: Work with providers, front-office staff, and insurance payers to resolve billing issues quickly and professionally. Qualifications • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required); coursework or certification in medical billing and coding preferred. • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle management (multi-specialty preferred). • Technical Skills: • Familiarity with EHR systems and medical billing software (CareCloud, AdvancedMD, Athena, or similar). • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). • Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, time management, organization, and communication. • Certifications: CPB (Certified Professional Biller), CMRS (Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist), or equivalent preferred but not required.
