Our client is seeking a dedicated Medicaid Finance Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Medicaid finance at the federal or state level and be willing to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. This role involves working closely with product owners and business owners to define objectives, processes, policies, procedures, and rules related to the Medicaid and CHIP Financial (MACFin) system.

Major requirements:
• Experience with Medicaid and CHIP budget and expenditures Communication
• Recent/relevant experience

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with product owners and business owners to define objectives, processes, policies, procedures, and rules for the MACFin system.
• Explain policy implementation to team members.
• Ensure data and information accuracy by fact-checking program objectives.
• Provide feedback to the project team throughout the creation, testing, and rollout of deliverables.
• Work with MACFin leadership to create testing scenarios and validate test results.
• Perform user-acceptance testing at the end of the project.
• Validate deliverables produced by the MACFin team.
• Create project-related documentation and training manuals.
• Teach or train project employees and consumers.

Required Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in Medicaid finance at the federal or state level.
• Experience with Medicaid and CHIP budget and expenditures.
• Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field
• Must currently hold a public trust or be willing to obtain a public trust.

Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience with MBES/CBES and MACFin for budget and expenditure submissions.
• Master's degree in finance or a related field.
