Mediation Technology Support
The Mediation Center of the Coastal Empire is currently seeking volunteers for mediation technology support services. Volunteers would provide Zoom tech support, virtual IT assistance and agreement writing for live mediations. Free training is available. • Set up and manage virtual mediation sessions, ensuring a smooth experience for all participants. • Provide technical support during sessions, addressing any issues that may arise. • Collaborate with mediators to prepare and share documents via Google Workspace and Adobe Sign. • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while supporting mediators and clients. • Help with the onboarding of new users and guiding them through the technology process. The Mediation Center helps individuals or groups resolve conflicts using a neutral mediator who helps keep the focus on reaching workable agreements. Unlike court proceedings, mediation is confidential and scheduled at the convenience of the parties involved. Parties also maintain control of the solution including the nature and scope of their agreements. Over the last 36 years, the Mediation Center has trained more than 500 volunteer mediators, conducted 10,000+ mediations and facilitated over 7,000 settlements. Apply tot his job
