The Medical Science Liaison I is a pivotal role within our Medical Affairs team, serving as a remote-based scientific and clinical expert. This position collaborates closely with the WH Sales team, providing strategic clinical education and support to healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities...

Clinical Expertise and Education: Deliver comprehensive remote and on-site clinical education to healthcare providers on WH testing portfolio, medical society guidelines, and genetic testing technologies.

Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with Sales to develop and execute strategic plans for key accounts, ensuring alignment with business objectives while maintaining clinical excellence.

Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with local Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to promote the integration of genetic screening into clinical practice.

Support and Training: Provide ongoing clinical support, education, and training to the Sales team, documenting insights and interventions efficiently.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Engage in collaborative projects within and outside the WH Business Unit, contributing to broader organizational goals.

Additional Responsibilities

Engage in cross-functional initiatives and collaborative projects, contributing to the advancement of corporate and WH objectives.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in genetic counseling or related field (e.g., MS, APP, PA, NP). Genetic experience preferred.

Current relevant board certifications and licenses.

Post-graduate clinical experience is advantageous.

Strong understanding of genetics, genetic testing, and current service delivery models.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Locations:

Candidates living in or near Salt Lake City, Denver, Phoenix, or Las Vegas are preferred.

Travel Requirements

This position requires approximately 40% travel within the Southwest Territory, including occasional weekends for conferences and meetings.

Physical Requirements

Ability to remain stationary, move, operate equipment, communicate effectively, and travel extensively as required.
