Job Summary: An up-and-coming MEP+FP engineering firm is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with specialized experience in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design. The successful candidate will be proficient in Revit or AutoCAD MEP and capable of delivering code-compliant designs. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to the safety and efficiency of building systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and document HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems using Revit or AutoCAD MEP.
Ensure all designs meet current codes and regulations.
Provide technical leadership and project management for mechanical design projects.
Conduct system calculations, sizing, and layout planning.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
Review and approve mechanical submittals and shop drawings.
Participate in client meetings and provide expert advice on mechanical design matters.
Qualifications:
5-10 years of experience in HVAC or plumbing/fire protection design.
Demonstrated proficiency with Revit or AutoCAD MEP.
Ability to provide code-compliant HVAC or plumbing/fire protection designs.
Mechanical PE license is a significant advantage, but not required.
EIT is recommended, but not required.
