Responsibilities: Leading design, development, and enhancement efforts for Wireless/RF Connection and other related productsAchieve cost reduction targets on our high-volume Wireless/RF products without sacrificing product qualityIntegral part of new product development teams and work from conception through productionProduct development using SolidWorks softwareDesign of plastic and metal mechanical components, assemblies, and electro-mechanical packagingStructural and thermal analysis capability utilizing ANSYS and IcePak simulation toolsParticipate in product design reviewsPrototyping /modeling designCreate mechanical engineering design specificationsTesting mechanical and electrical properties to ensure quality and reliability. Qualifications: Hold a BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering, RF Engineering or related engineering fieldHave 4-7 years of engineering/design experienceHave familiarity with manufacturing processes including PCB fabrication, sheet metal forming processes, CNC machining, plastic injection molding, plastic and aluminum extrusion processes, die casting and electronic assemblyFamiliarity designing products for a high-volume manufacturing environment is preferredBe creative and possess superior organizational, interpersonal and oral/written communication skills Additional Information #LI-AC1At JMA, we don’t just accept differences — we embrace them.
