Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC, a world class supplier of power generation repairs and services is seeking a qualified candidate for its Outage Services Division. We have an immediate opening for a qualified individual who has a desire to join a growing organization and an appetite for diverse and technically challenging work. MD&A’s Outage Services Division provides full service capabilities for steam turbine-generator outages, alignment, vibration, performance improvement and start-up support. The OSD Operations manager is responsible for all related work starting from the inquiry phase through execution of the work. This includes coordination of all requirements required to support the customer’s scope including Parts, Services, Repairs (either on-site or in our service center), Controls, Generator Repairs and Upgrades/Retrofits.MD&A’s Outage Services Division is seeking an experienced Turbine Services Operations Manager to provide home office and customer site leadership for steam turbine outage projects. Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Responsible for all work with assigned customers from outage bid preparation through contract closeoutWork with commercial team to review/understand contractual terms & conditionsCoordinate all services provided by other MD&A divisions for assigned customersWork closely with the on-site project team to insure quality, safety, meet financial performance and assure customers expectations are exceeded.Coordinate with labor providers to ensure proper staffing of projectsWork with various subcontractors to ensure scope, price and execution of work is in accordance with customer scopeManage extra work authorizationsManage field service personnelManage overall project schedule from proposal phase through execution of workDrive productivity and efficiency to assure project goals are metPrimary contact for all assigned customers
Requirements
BS/BA Technical degree (ME preferred)Detailed knowledge of turbine technology acquired from 5-10 years of experience in the Steam Turbine disassembly and inspection methodsST Field Engineer experience is a strong plusStrong project management skillsProficiency in current PC Software– MS OfficeExcellent communication and customer service skillsExperience with the direction of craft laborWillingness to travel including some international travel
Salary Description
$135-160K
