They are seeking a recent graduate for a 1-year rotational program in Marketing and Business Development, offering hands-on experience and the opportunity for a full-time position upon completion.ResponsibilitiesContribute to the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns and strategic initiatives that elevate the firm’s brandPartner on high-visibility projects across all digital marketing channelsMonitor campaign performance and engagement metrics, helping identify opportunities to optimize reach and impactAssist in ROI tracking for events to ensure marketing investments drive measurable resultsCollaborate with the creative team to ensure marketing materials are up-to-date and accessibleConduct market and competitive research to inform strategic decision-makingAnalyze data and prepare clear, insight-driven reports that support continuous improvement and strategic planningExecute PR campaigns for firm initiatives and key practice areasResearch and draft content for attorney matters, deals, awards, media coverage, and speaking opportunitiesPrepare daily newsletter highlighting firm media coverage and awardsTrack awards, rankings, media coverage, and key firm informationSupport media relations by drafting pitches, preparing interview materials, and identifying media targetsResearch relevant news topics related to the firmProvide ad-hoc project support as neededProvide project and administrative support for business development teamsTrack business development activitiesSupport the development of pitches and proposals, including updating and maintaining pitch materialsConduct research for client meetings and pitches and for other business development purposesSupport client focused business development events, including mailing lists, invitations, researching and tracking attendees and additional follow-up initiativesAssist with updating experience listsConduct and maintain competitive intelligence for key client teamsAssist with stakeholder mapping and follow through plans for key client teamsSupport client development by maintaining CRM hygiene for key client team contactsTrack matter experience and update pitch materialsSupport participation in industry conferences, including researching clients and prospectsAssist with event planning, mailing lists, invitations, and researching attendeesSupport business development by researching client targetsMaintain data for firmwide client reportingMonitor matter status and coordinate with team membersExplore the use of AI to help automate tasksFulfill requests for analytics on legal mattersAssist with organizing and updating reporting suiteUse MicroStrategy to pull and organize dataSkillsEligible candidates must be graduating in May 2026, or have graduated within the last 12 monthsRelevant prior internship experienceExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize effectivelyAbility to work independentlyDetail-oriented and highly organizedProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPointStrong writing, editing, and proofreading skillsProfessional demeanor and strict confidentialityIntellectual curiosity and drive to improve serviceProject management and problem-solving skillsCompany OverviewRopes & Gray, a preeminent, global law firm, has been ranked in the top-three on The American Lawyer's prestigious "A-List" for eight consecutive years and listed on Law.com’s UK “A-List” for three years in a row.
