Job Responsibilities
As a Math Instructor / Tutor at Mathnasium of South Beaverton, your key responsibilities will include:
Teaching and tutoring students in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
Working collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
Assessing students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
Becoming proficient with digital educational materials and processes to enhance student learning
Supporting the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment that fosters academic excellence
Qualifications and Requirements
To succeed as a Math Instructor / Tutor at Mathnasium of South Beaverton, you'll need:
A passion for math and working with students of all ages and skill levels
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex math concepts in a clear and engaging manner
Eagerness to learn and be trained on our proprietary curriculum and teaching methodologies
Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I, with a strong foundation in mathematical concepts and problem-solving
The ability to balance various ongoing tasks and responsibilities while maintaining a focus on student learning
