Role Description

The Marketing Intern will play an integral part in helping The Alliance achieve its goals by assisting with various marketing and communication-related tasks. This is a part-time (20 hours per week), remote role, and the Marketing Intern will work closely with the Community Relations Director and other team members to carry out day-to-day responsibilities. The Marketing Intern will be responsible for creating engaging content for social media, assisting with market research, supporting sales and marketing strategies, providing excellent customer service, and carrying out various administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications
• Strong communication skills, including written and verbal
• Ability to conduct market research and analyze data
• Experience in sales or customer service
• Understanding of marketing strategies and tactics
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience with Canva, WordPress, and Google Analytics
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Passion for social justice and nonprofit work
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field, or currently pursuing a degree in a related field

This role is non-paid and is eligible for college credit.
