Modern Family Law, a rapidly expanding national law firm specializing in Family Law, is seeking a driven, compassionate, and experienced Managing Attorney to join our talented team in our Bellevue office. This position is remote, but you must reside in Washington to attend hearings or meet with clients in your assigned office.

We are seeking a Managing Attorney to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Bellevue office while handling diverse family law cases and making a meaningful impact on our clients’ lives. This position is critical in ensuring the productivity and profitability of the office by balancing legal expertise, team mentorship, and operational management. To be successful in this role, the Managing Attorney will:
• Oversee daily operations, productivity, and profitability of our Bellevue office.
• Lead, mentor, and develop legal staff through training, motivation, and support.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and HR on recruitment and policy compliance.
• Coordinate with other leaders to ensure cross-departmental support.
• Conduct client consultations and provide legal advice on family law matters.
• Represent clients in court, prepare legal documents, and negotiate settlements.

Position Requirements:
• Five (5) or more years of devoted Family Law experience preferred.
• Skilled in mentoring and leading a team, while fostering collaboration.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with a client-focused mindset.
• Proficient in client counseling, case prep, case management, and courtroom representation.
• Clear and effective verbal and written legal communication.
• Able to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
• Committed to delivering excellent client service.
• Active admission to the Washington State Bar

Compensation: $160,000 base + generous bonuses and commissions tied to billing and office profitability. Additionally, we are currently offering a $25,000 signing bonus for this role. The structure presented is a reliable estimate of the base salary plus potential commissions based on billable hours and collections that this individual is expected to receive. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, billable hour expectations, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. Full-time employees are eligible for health insurance with an optional Health Savings Account (HSA), short-term disability, long-term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401(k) Retirement Plan, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.
