Our GTM team is currently looking for a Manager, Sales Development to join us!As our Manager, Sales Development, you’ll lead and support a team of highly motivated and ambitious Sales Development Representatives during a period of rapid-growth at Vanta. These SDRs will be focused on the VMB, SMB and Enterprise segments of our APJ business. You’ll be integral in shaping our sales organization as we continue to scale, move up market, and distinguish Vanta as best-in-class to prospects in our rapidly growing category of security automation, with Vanta having created the category of automated compliance.This role is hybrid in our APJ office 3 days per week.What you’ll do as a Manager, Sales Development at Vanta:Manage and mentor a growing team of high performing Sales Development Representatives, providing them the tools, coaching, and support needed to deliver results for the businessEvolve Vanta’s prospecting playbook by developing and implementing new prospecting initiatives and strategies that will increase deal sizes, resolve complex use cases, and drive more revenue to the companyGrow the Sales Development team at Vanta, through active involvement in recruitment, on-boarding and training of new Sales Development RepresentativesCreate and establish strategic prospecting training, conduct weekly forecasting meetings, and mentor your direct reports on strategies that can help create pipelineHelp to continually foster an inclusive Sales organization representing Vanta’s culture and valuesEnsure development plans are in place, adapted to each individual, and made useful in a way that ensures the ongoing development of talent within the organizationCollaborate cross functionally to drive better outcomes for Vanta’s prospects’ that have headquarters within APJPartner with sales leadership on creating an agile organization that believes in using decision frameworks to inform strategic direction but also isn’t afraid to launch, iterate, and redo in order to get the job doneHow to be successful in this role:Be located in Sydney, Australia and have the ability to commute to the office in a hybrid setting.Have 3-5 years of sales experience, with at least 2+ years of management/leadership experienceOffer experience in B2B SaaS sales and sales managementHave experience prospecting into various market segments and personasHave stellar problem-solving abilities, thrive working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoy the challenge of making a large impact early on in a start-up environmentPossess the technical competency to understand Vanta’s software, the intellectual curiosity to want to learn about the world of governance, risk and compliance, and to build great relationships with highly technical prospects who are willing to rethink the paradigm in how security is achieved, and to enhance and evolve their own security programsWhat you can expect as a Vantan:Industry-competitive salary and equityHealthcare stipend towards health insurance for you and your dependents16 weeks paid parental leave for all new parents (birthing, non-birthing, and adoptive)Health & wellness stipendRemote workspace stipendCommuter benefits for team members who attend the officeInternet and cellphone stipend9 company paid holidays20 days of PTO per yearVirtual team building activities, lunch and learns, and other company-wide events!#LI-hybridAt Vanta, we are committed to hiring diverse talent of different backgrounds and as such, it is important to us to provide an inclusive work environment for all.
