The Manager, Recruitment & Admissions is responsible for implementing an inclusive admissions process, managing outreach, and ensuring enrollment benchmarks are met for training programs in the Bronx.ResponsibilitiesManage a rigorous outreach and admissions process throughout its entire lifecycle, ensuring targets and benchmarks for recruitment and admissions are achievedReceive and process candidate applications, including conducting information sessions, administering relevant assessments, participating in face-to-face candidate interviewsCommunicate with candidates while quickly building rapport and trustLeverage social media and email campaigns to attract and connect with potential learnersAttend to all administrative tasks to ensure compliance with licensing regulationsConduct presentations and administer off-site information sessionsAttend networking events to increase Per Scholas’ visibility in the community to recruit prospective learners with an interest and passion for careers in the IT industryLead and manage direct reports, fostering professional growth, accountability, and collaborationMake referrals to supportive services and/or alternative programs for applicants, as appropriateUtilize Salesforce to track learner candidates through the admissions process, noting assessments, interview outcomes and workflow statusCreate reporting tools to track the admissions pipeline by cohort to ensure enrollment benchmarks are successfully reachedTrack all required enrollment solutions in Salesforce for each launched cohortSkillsThrive in a fast past environment while maintaining a high degree of precision, organization and attention to detailsAbility to balance learner-centric lens and approach with any other client driven pressureExcellent written, communication, and follow-up skills to coordinate with applicants, team members, instructors, management and other stakeholdersAbility to prioritize, execute tasks, and remain focused in a fast-paced environmentAbility to quickly learn and adapt to new software, platforms, and digital toolsComfortable in working with CRM systemsExperience in recruitment, tech recruiting preferredSalesforce preferred1-3 years of experience managing and developing others, preferredA people leader who cares about and invests in direct reports, sets them up to succeed and supports their future growthCompany OverviewPer Scholas is proud to celebrate 30 years of fostering economic mobility by giving individuals from diverse backgrounds access to high-growth tech careers.
