About the Role

As our ideal candidate, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximize sales revenue, profitability, and market share. You'll leverage your expertise in sales analytics, pricing optimization, and revenue management to drive business growth and improvement. This is a fully remote role, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere and be part of a talented team that's shaping the future of pet nutrition.

Key Responsibilities


Sales Analytics:

Conduct in-depth analysis of sales performance metrics to identify opportunities for revenue growth and optimization.
Evaluate market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decision-making.
Oversee the Sales Analyst role and Sales Reporting infrastructure to enable sales division distribution and execution targets measurement.


Pricing:

Maintain and develop pricing strategies for distributors, retailers, and international partners.
Conduct Pricing Elasticity studies to optimize pricing structures, discounts, and promotions.
Balance revenue maximization with competitiveness and customer value perception.


Promotional Strategy:

Lead the collaborative promotional strategy process across the organization.
Determine the optimal timing and cadence for promotional activities.
Partner with Marketing and Finance teams to standardize approach and metrics.


Price-Pack Architecture:

Analyze price-pack architecture and develop execution timelines and guidelines.
Execute general price increases, SKU rationalization, and mix management in line with company pricing guidelines.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with sales teams to understand market dynamics and customer needs.
Partner with marketing teams to align pricing and promotional strategies with brand positioning.




Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:


A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline with a strong analytical focus.
5+ years of experience in sales analytics, pricing strategy, revenue management, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving measurable results.
Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in pricing analytics and financial modeling.
Command over Power BI and Microsoft Excel, with experience using similar tools.
Experience with POS data (Nielsen/NIQ, IRI) and Panel data (Nielsen OmniShopper, Numerator, etc.) is a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
A strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making and a focus on achieving business objectives.


Preferred Qualifications


Previous experience managing high-performing Sales Analysts.
Experience working in the pet food or consumer goods industry.
