Manager Global Security Systems

Remote Full-time
• Manages the performance of security integrators and vendors to ensure system installations meet network, operational, and information security requirements. Oversee the planning of building and property layouts to confirm physical security design standards are followed.

Essential Functions:
• Enable and support systems that deliver a safe and secure work environment for employees and secure customer property by implementing and enforcing security standards, measuring compliance, and developing/maintaining a security culture.
• Ability to monitor and analyze security trends and intelligence to proactively address potential security matters and be able to communicate trends to upper management and regional/global business partners.
• Continuously evaluate FedEx facilities in effort to eliminate guard force expenditures, when and where applicable, by implementing technology.
• Systems development/integration.
• Management responsibilities include but are not limited to hiring, terminations, coaching, skills development, recognition and rewards, performance management and staff productivity.
• Develops and manages the department budget; ensures compliance and addresses variances and other budget concerns.
• Manages and directs a team of professionals responsible for engineering, design, and project management of security systems and solutions including video security management systems, access control systems, intrusion detection systems, pedestrian and x-ray screening systems, and other physical security needs.
• Manages the performance of security integrators and vendors to ensure system installations meet network, operational, and information security requirements.
• Oversee the planning of building and property layouts to confirm physical security design standards are followed.
• Leads research, system architecture design, InfoSec review, and pilots of new security technologies and solutions.
• Oversees systems configuration and maintenance, network security and patching for all security systems and applications.
• Participates and leads cross-department and field teams to support multiple corporate initiatives.
• Manages corporate office security systems, processes, and support emergency protocol programs.
• Manages all aspects of the enterprise badging system including backend application, field hardware, ID badge policies and procedures, and badge production center.
• Maintaining credible physical security practices, maintenance, and vulnerability assessments to determine level of risk.
• Implement technologies and systems to ensure the safety and security of employees, facilities, and customer property.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work/Domicile Location(s):
• This position may be hybrid in Collierville (Memphis), Tennessee; Coraopolis (Pittsburgh), Pennsylvania; Plano (Dallas), Texas or Harrison, Arkansas and candidates must live within a 50 mile radius. This position is hybrid, meaning that employees will be required to work at a FedEx Campus location several times per week.

Minimum Education:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in engineering, business, computer science, math, or related quantitative degree.

Minimum Experience:
• Five years’ experience in management of security or operations systems which may include research and development design, system installation, service, and maintenance, to include CCTV, access control, badge production, X-ray, and cyber security vulnerability management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Knowledge of software, engineering principles, and program and project management.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
• Strong understanding of technology standards and technical requirements for cyber security vulnerability management, CCTV, access control, badge production, X-ray systems.
• Experience with vendor sourcing, contract development and vendor management. Experience working with all levels of management.

Job Conditions

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: Pay Transparency Range: Plano, TX ($8,896.99/month - $12,010.93/month); Collierville, TN ($8,452.14/month - $11,410.38/month); Harrison, AR ($8,007.29/month - $10,809.84/month); Pittsburgh, PA ($8,896.99/month - $12,010.93/month).
