Job Description:This is a temporary role, planned for July 1 - November 15, 2025.Schedule: 32 hours per week, Monday - Friday.Location: RemoteJob Description:Role Purpose: The Email Marketing Manager role entails managing and executing Merkle's external email communications, implementing effective B2B email marketing strategies, driving engagement and conversions, and owning email reporting. The Email Marketing Manager will continuously enhance the program through email and automation best practices, requiring a strong understanding of Merkle's business. Additionally, this position will need to leverage expertise in Marketo and Pardot, acting as a technical consultant to the marketing team during strategic planning discussions.Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive email marketing strategies to support business goals and objectivesManage the end-to-end email marketing process, including planning, working with creative and content on email direction, creation, testing, deployment, and performance trackingImplement and optimize email nurture programs to drive lead generation and prospect engagement. Promote key marketing content in email newsletters that is tailored and optimized for target audiences, aiming to drive engagement and client retention. Build and manage email programs for events, ensuring timely execution with tight deadlines and the ability to quickly pivot direction based on event changesCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing Operations, Content, and CreativeSegment and target email lists based on various criteria, including buyer personas, customer segments, and behavioral dataDesign and create compelling email templates that adhere to brand guidelines and best practices for optimal user experience and engagement. Monitor and analyze key email marketing metrics and KPIs to identify trends, measure campaign effectiveness, and provide actionable insights to improve performanceConduct A/B tests and implement data-driven optimization strategies to continuously improve email deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, and conversionsProvide training and guidance to team members on email marketing best practices, automation platforms, and toolsMaintain a deep understanding of our target audience, customer journey, and competitive landscape to drive effective segmentation and personalized email experiencesEnsure compliance with email marketing regulations, privacy laws, and best practices for data protectionRequirements: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field5+ years of experience in email marketing required3+ years of hands-on experience working directly in Marketo requiredStrong knowledge of Pardot and Salesforce required Experience with HTML/CSS preferredStrong analytical skills and experience with frequent reporting and optimizations Understanding of lead management processesAccuracy, attention to detail, and a quality-oriented approach are essentialExcellent communication and project management skillsA results-driven mindset and the ability to make data-driven decisions Experience in the B2B industry is a plusThe hourly pay range for this position is$32.69$53.08. The hourly pay rate for the successful candidate is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
