Account Executive Position Summary Aetna International is looking for a motivated, energetic individual to join our account management team in our Government programs market. The Account Executive for this important position will be assigned a specific book of business with existing large, complex foreign government customers. P primary responsibilities to include setting strategic vision, maintaining the overall Aetna client relationship, and supporting appropriate client retention and business development objectives. Applicants should be comfortable working with international clients in a dynamic, multi-cultural environment. Preferred position location in Washington DC/Baltimore area. Alternate locations in New York City or Philadelphia may be considered. Fundamental Components: • Develop and maintain mutually-favorable relationships with Aetna International clients (plan sponsors and producers) through superior account service • Develop, maintain and retain consultative client relationships, effectively positioning our value-added products and member services in accordance with business development objectives • Partner with customers on their employee benefit strategies with regard to health and wellness programs • Balance strategic planning and tactical implementation • Communicate and present information to audiences at all levels, both internally and externally • Review, deliver and coordinate account renewal activities • Meet both virtually and, at times, directly with customers (prospective clients, plan sponsors, and producers) • Develop and maintain proficient understanding of the international employee benefit business environment • Provide input to product development areas as appropriate to ensure competitive products and services • Prepare required and special market specific reports within expected timeframes Required Qualifications • 5+ years Healthcare industry experience • Multifunctional experience, e.g. Client Management, Underwriting, Sales, or Project management • Active Health Insurance and Life Insurance License • Must be able to Travel up to 30% (Possible out of state travel) • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) • Ability to work independently and with a team to deliver outcomes and drive results. Preferred Qualifications • 3-5 years Account Management experience • Proven experience in managing large, complex customers • Exceptional organizational and communication skills Education Bachelor' Degree or equivalent work experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience) Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $60,400.00 - $151,898.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. Our people fuel our future.
