Job DescriptionThe Major Account Manager will own a specified market and is uniquely positioned for a bold leader who is craving full ownership and accountability for our products and customers within the assigned Accounts. This person is the expert within the Chain Restaurants segment working to drive strong performance through channel initiatives and gap planning analysis with a data driven strategy.This is not a traditional sales role. We are searching for a candidate who shows a high level of ownership for their business and is adept at selling solutions and has a proven track record to win new business. The right candidate will be eager to be an influential leader and activator key partners from day one. This role reports to the Associate Director of Chain Restaurant Sales.Essential Functions & Responsibilities Develop and lead channel specific priorities within key account partnerships; Deliver quarterly and annual growth goals, increase market penetration and grow market shareLiaise between Kraft Heinz and customers to develop influential relationships with our key partners, and establish new partnershipsDevelop and track against performance and sales metrics; report on progress (including wins, gaps, and non-performance) in critical sales meetingsCollaborate cross-functionally to develop channel specific programs with customers, aid in the development of new sku's and customer sales collateralChallenge both internal and external teams to drive creative ideas that capitalize on business opportunitiesGuide trade spend strategy by channel, coordinate trade spend return on investment, and recommend adjustments to trade as neededResponsible for growing sales with assigned customer; Joint Business Planning with small to mid-tier accountsDevelopment of selling stories based on insights and analytic dataBuild pipeline development and conversion for profitable sales pipelineSupport of S&OP through Forecast process and waste mitigationExpected Experience & Required SkillsBachelor's Degree preferredProven sales experience required centered around profitable volume growth, customer penetration, and attainment of new customersExperience in restaurant, culinary, and/or distributor industry preferredThink creatively and critically, can learn new concepts and seeks to resolve complex problemsProblem solver who can drive projects to completion with minimal direction with grit, action and perseveranceAbility to travel ~25% of the timeCommand of business insight and intuition demonstrated by discernment that not every sales opportunity is equalEffective communication skills, both verbal and written, demonstrated by effective presentation, influence, and tough conversations with collaboratorsStrong financial competence to impact P&L management; Effective business planning and data-driven strategy for maintaining current and securing new customersWork Environment & ScheduleThis is a remote-based role that can be performed from a home office, with travel required based on business needs. The position follows a salaried, exempt schedule, allowing flexibility to meet customer and internal expectations, which may include occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends. Regular domestic travel within the assigned geographic territory is expected, including overnight trips as necessary. The role requires in-person engagement with customers, distributors, and internal teams to drive business objectives effectively.
