Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machine Tool Technology Adjunct Instructor to join our team at Columbus Technical College. As an adjunct instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of machine tool technicians, providing instruction and guidance in the classroom and lab settings. Key Responsibilities:


Instruct students in Machine Tool and CNC skill areas, developing program and course outlines, goals, and objectives that align with state standards.
Evaluate student progress, maintain accurate records, and provide constructive feedback to ensure students meet their goals and objectives.
Maintain a safe and secure learning environment, adhering to all safety and security protocols.
Develop and implement effective lesson plans, incorporating hands-on lab instruction and utilizing technology to enhance student learning.
Collaborate with colleagues to support recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts.
Utilize strong time management and organization skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.


Requirements:


Associate degree from an accredited college or university in Machine Tool Technology or related field, or a diploma in Machine Tool Technology from an accredited college or technical institution.
Minimum of 3 years of work experience in Conventional or CNC Machining fields.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:


Blue print reading capabilities.
Teaching or training experience.
