Role Overview:
As a Machine Learning Research Engineer at Mindtech, you will be at the forefront of developing and applying state-of-the-art machine learning techniques. You will work closely with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to create models that solve complex real-world problems. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic and research background in machine learning, hands-on experience in model development, and a passion for experimenting with innovative AI techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Research, design, and implement cutting-edge machine learning models for various applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into practical ML solutions.
Develop scalable machine learning algorithms and optimize model performance.
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, integrating new methods into ongoing projects.
Conduct thorough experimentation and analysis to validate model effectiveness.
Build, train, and evaluate models using large datasets, ensuring robustness and accuracy.
Write research papers and technical documentation to present findings internally and externally.
Contribute to the overall architecture and design of machine learning systems.
Requirements:
Educational Background: PhD in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is required.
Experience:
Proven research experience with hands-on experience in designing and implementing ML models.
Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and classical ML libraries (Scikit-learn).
Solid experience in Python and familiarity with data manipulation tools (Pandas, NumPy).
Skills:
Strong understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
Proficiency in model evaluation, optimization, and hyperparameter tuning.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and deploying machine learning models.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with large, complex datasets.
Strong communication skills for effectively presenting complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
Experience with reinforcement learning, natural language processing, or computer vision.
Published research in high-impact ML/AI conferences or journals.
