Your mission We are seeking a passionate Machine Learning Intern to join our team. You will apply cutting-edge vision research and use innovative methods to solve real-world problems. More specifically, you will: Define common research goal in cooperation with our machine learning team and our academic advisors Apply state of the art methods to solve industrial vision tasks Conduct your project independently (bring in ideas, design experiments, ...) Regularly document and communicate findings from your experiments, both positive and negative Lay the foundation for integrating your work into the Maddox AI platform Your Profile You completed a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (AI, ML, data science, computer science etc.) You are fluent in English You have developed good coding practices using Python, PyTorch, and Git in previous projects You have collected industry or research experience in at least one of the following topics: Synthetic Data Generation (e.g., finetuning generative architectures for inpainting tasks) Transfer Learning using generative models (e.g., using generative models for building domain-specific foundation datasets and models) Anomaly Detection (e.g., using anomaly detection for quickly adapting to new, small production batches) You have showcased the ability to work both independently and collaboratively You have a strong sense of ownership and are able to communicate your thought process and decision making clearly Having previously published research is a plus Our mission Our product, Maddox AI , is an AI-based visual quality control solution, which automates manually performed quality inspection for manufacturing companies.
