As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge machine learning solutions to improve the automotive shopping experience for consumers. You will work on a range of engaging projects aimed at optimizing pricing models, recommendation systems, and shopper segmentation.How you will contribute to TrueCar’s success:Collaborate with stakeholders to fuse ideas from business issues to machine learning solutions. You will create models that drive real value for consumers.Solve moderately complex problems with multilayered data sets and optimize existing machine learning libraries and frameworks.Write high-quality code.Deploy machine learning models into production, ensuring they meet performance, latency, memory, and throughput requirements.Identify issues and differences in data distribution that could potentially affect model performance.Stay up to date with developments in machine learning technology and proactively share best practices.Your Expertise: Demonstrated work experience implementing machine learning models using Python and AWS SageMakerAdvanced Python programming skillsProven software development experienceStrong background in algorithms, data structures, and ranking infrastructuresExperience with ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)Distributed systems experience (Elastic Search) Excellent problem-solving and debugging skillsML Ops experience: deploying machine learning models to production, preferredSolid understanding of Recommendation Systems is a plusPassion for working with cutting-edge Gen AI technologiesBase salary range: $128,000 - $170,000Your TrueCar ExperienceAt TrueCar, we champion remote work because we know great work can happen anywhere.
