A large Mortgage company is hiring fully remote Loss Mitigation Underwriter to join the team - looking for candidates who have any kind of Mortgage Underwriting, and is also familiar with mortgage documents!
Pay: $27-30/hr
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm EST
Start Date: October 7th 2024
More preferential towards candidates who live in either PST or MST time-zone
Would consider those from TX.

Description
The Underwriter, Loss Mitigation I is responsible for the underwriting of loss mitigation options for all workout types on all loan types. Will need to maintain and acquire any licensing requirements.
Essential Job Functions
Must be in compliance of established timelines and quality decisions for each file assigned.
Preferred to have underwriting experience.
Must be familiar with mortgage documents.
Must be familiar with financial documents.
Must be able to communicate effectively with customers.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Other Related Duties
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
