Long-Term Substitute Core Music Teacher Opportunity
Join Greenwich Public Schools as a Long-Term Substitute Core Music Teacher and inspire the next generation of musicians! We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate music educator to teach core music at Glenville Elementary School from January 2, 2024, to approximately April 12, 2024. As a long-term substitute core music teacher, you will play a vital role in developing students' understanding and appreciation of music, identifying and promoting their talents, and creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Teach core music to students at Glenville Elementary School
Develop and implement a balanced music program that meets the needs of all students
Conduct ongoing assessments of student musical learning and progress
Modify instructional methods to fit individual student needs, including students with special needs
Plan, coordinate, and direct students in musical programs and performances
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Requirements:
CT State Certification in Music, Grades PreK-12 (#049) required
Knowledge of current teaching methods and educational pedagogy
Ability to play an instrument or instruments and conduct students in playing instruments as needed
Ability to instruct students in singing, harmonization, and chorus
Excellent communication and organizational skills
