Long-Term Care Pharmacist
Job Opportunity We are seeking a skilled and experienced pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree and be licensed to practice in Arizona. The LTC Closed Door Pharmacist will work with patients to ensure they receive accurate and appropriate medications, monitoring their compliance and identifying any potential issues. They will also maintain confidential patient records and provide education on medications and medical devices. In addition to these responsibilities, the pharmacist will oversee pharmacy staff, including technicians and clerks, and maintain an inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies. Collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals is also essential for optimizing patient outcomes. To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong multitasking and communication skills, as well as proficient computer and electronic record-keeping abilities. Fluency in English is required.
