Manage and coordinate localization projects with vendors, localization team staff, as well as marketing, legal, and other departments across Apple. Project management from concept level to go-live. The role requires working cross-functionally with marketing teams, video services, external vendors, localization team staff, design, and other teams to ensure that projects are completed under the required deadlines and maintain industry-leading standards of quality while remaining calm under pressure. The localization producer oversees end to end localization workflow in a creative environment, plan for & manage localization projects and requirements across internal and external teams; scope, planning, and task tracking. They manage international copy and assets for store, marketing and social campaigns. They represent the team in marketing meetings, contribute to project kick offs & meetings with cross-functional teams for planning and prepare and present presentations. They identify and communicate innovative solutions to streamline workflows and processes. Additionally, set the tone and voice of Apple's service for the creation of glossaries. In charge of vendor relations to ensure seamless communication between business and local marketing teams and work with in-house localization for confidential projects under NDAs. Work on Machine Translation strategies to minimize manual input and bring optimization into localization. Domestic travel required 10%. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $130,853 - $178,600/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in translation, Localization, International Relations or related field and five years of 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Five years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
Requires native-language or reading and writing proficiency in Czech, French, Hungarian, Portuguese, Slovak, or Ukrainian language
Experience with online media production and localization Quality Assurance.
Planning, managing, and delivering projects with tight timeframes in an agency or other project management environment.
Project management tools and bring efficiency in automation in order to manage deadlines and task volume.
Native-language or foreign language proficiency with English translation in Czech, French, Hungarian, Portuguese, Slovak, or Ukrainian in order to set the editorial tone for the services and quality control.
Completing platform testing in multiple environments in different systems QA for international copy and artwork and accountable for desired behaviors
Creating style guides and glossaries for terminology management and alignment in cross-functional setting with multiple stakeholders
