About the position
The Litigation Paralegal will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys throughout the litigation process, from case inception to trial preparation. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with extensive experience in civil litigation or insurance defense, who can manage legal documents, conduct research, and communicate effectively with clients and court personnel.
Responsibilities
Ā Assist in the preparation and filing of discovery documents, interrogatories, pleadings

Ā Organize and maintain case files and other legal documents
,
Ā Conduct legal research using Westlaw or other legal databases
,
Ā Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel
,
Ā Schedule appointments, depositions, and court hearings
,
Ā Transcribe dictations and prepare correspondence
,
Ā Handle clerical tasks including data entry, filing, and phone etiquette
,
Ā Assist the office with marketing materials and advertising efforts
,
Ā Coordinate meetings, appointments, and court dates for attorneys
,
Ā Provide administrative support such as answering phones and handling correspondence
Requirements
Ā 8+ years previous experience as a Litigation Paralegal or Legal Assistant

Ā Proficiency in MS Office Suite and legal software applications
,
Ā Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
,
Ā Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
,
Ā Knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures
,
Ā Excellent written and verbal communication skills
,
Ā Familiarity with administrative duties in a legal setting
