Litigation Attorney - Remote, Short-Term Project
Robert Half Legal is partnering with a boutique litigation firm in their search for an experienced California-barred litigation attorney for a short-term project. This contract role supports the firm through a complex elder abuse and malpractice trial defending a prominent assisted living facility. The engagement is fully remote, begins immediately, and continues until the trial concludes in early May.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drafting and responding to motions, discovery, and trial pleadings
• Conducting in-depth legal research and analysis in complex elder abuse and malpractice matters
• Preparing and reviewing trial materials
• Supporting lead trial counsel throughout pretrial and trial phases
• Collaborating with a small, dedicated litigation team in a fast-paced virtual environment
Location: Fully Remote
Assignment: 6-Week Contract (40 hours/week through end of trial in early May)
Qualifications:
Requirements:
• Active California law license and good standing with the State Bar
• 5+ years litigation experience, including trial preparation and motion practice
