Job description: Job Posting SummaryBaptist Health is looking for a Licensed Mental Health Evaluator to join our Inpatient Behavioral Health unit at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a Full Time opportunity working Monday through Thursday 9pm to 7:30am.Baptist Jacksonville is a Magnet™ designated hospital, the gold standard for excellence in patient care. The Mental Health Evaluator (MHE) completes psychosocial assessments of ED and medically admitted patients who need psychiatric placement in the ED and throughout the hospital.
The MHE is also available to assist the psychiatrist in performing medical consults and providing therapeutic counseling to patients who are admitted to the hospital.
*Training for CPI, EMTALA, and Baker Act must be completed within first 30 days of employment.
*Must obtain hospital priviledges through the Medical Staff Office*
*LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Florida is required*Education Note: Training for CPI, EMTALA, and Baker Act must be completed within first 30 days of employment.
